Evidence

Just like any legal case, you must provide the court with evidence in your divorce case. Typically, this is done by appearing in court during a set hearing and testifying in front of the judge and your spouse about your marriage.

However, in cases like yours, the law allows you to testify to the facts of your marriage using an Affidavit. An Affidavit is simply a written version of your swearing under oath to tell the truth and testifying.
